Yamamoto Senko Alternatives

Senkos are awesome but too expensive for my blood. I have tried a number of other companies as alternatives and figured I would share.

Wave Worms

5" Tiki-Stick

This is the best bang for the buck I have found. They are soft, scented and cheap. At about $2.99/10 pack. Walmart used to carry. I have read that they pulled out of stores but still can be purchased online. Good thing I bout about 15 bags the end of last year.

V & M Baits

5" Chopstick

About $5 for 10 pack

I have used their 6" Lizards and French Fry with much success in the past. So I figured I would try the Chopstick. I am likely going to order more this year. They have pork fat and anise scent cooked in them. You can order them in bulk packs of 100qty for just shy of $50 bucks. I don't think Northern Bass in NH carries V & M anymore.

Kinami Baits

5" Flash

Another favorite....closest to Senko.

7 pack for around 5 bucks

Gambler Lures

5" ACE

4.49/ 8 pack

www.gambler-bang.com

They also have some good craws and creatures for flippin and pitchin

These guys were local when I was living in FL and used to give great deals to the local club angers.

Bass Pro

5" Stick-o

It's their own brand and I hate them. The Worst!!! These are faily cheap but over salted makes them too heavy. They are not soft. The rubber is tough and to hard to pull a hook thru.

Please share your thoughts or other suggestions.
